Top Bonita Springs & Naples Communities

BONITA BAY
Bonita Bay features five golf courses, a private marina, a tennis center, and a private beach park. The 2,400-acre gated community is a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, preserving nature and offering miles of walking paths. It also stands as the largest Blue Zones Recognized Community in Southwest Florida.
GREY OAKS
Grey Oaks is a gated golf community with 54 award-winning holes across three championship courses. It offers two clubhouses, including a 62,000-square-foot main clubhouse, and a brand-new 30,000-square-foot wellness center. Homes include custom estates, villas, and coach homes designed for privacy.
MEDITERRA
Mediterra offers two Tom Fazio-designed golf courses, a 25,000-square-foot country club, and a private 10,000-square-foot beach club. PELICAN BAY & BAY COLONY
Pelican Bay and Bay Colony offer private beachfront dining, 27 holes of golf, and a full-service tennis program. Pelican Bay is a 3.25-square-mile community consisting of 95 neighborhoods, offering condos, villas, and single-family homes. Residents enjoy easy access to 88 acres of parks, a beach club, and fitness amenities.
QUAIL WEST
Quail West is an exclusive gated golf community featuring custom estates and two Arthur Hills-designed championship courses. The community is known for its 100,000-square-foot clubhouse, dining options, and state-of-the-art fitness center. Quail West’s Olympic-sized indoor pool is a standout feature.
Hurricane Milton Misses Naples but Brings Coastal Flooding
On October 9, 2024, Hurricane Milton approached SWFL as a powerful Category 3 storm threatening Naples but it’s course tracked North and led it to make landfall near Sarasota, sparing Naples from the worst impact. Naples experienced peak winds around 60 mph, minimal rainfall during the storm and storm surge levels peak at approximately six feet. This was the second-highest surge recorded in Naples in the last 60 years, following Hurricane Ian’s eight-foot surge in 2022. Coastal areas faced flooding, particularly in older properties built at lower elevations, as well as minor standing water on roads that drained within a day. Close to the beach, properties saw sand deposits across yards, driveways, and roads, requiring clean-up efforts and damaging landscaping near the coast. Power outages were widespread, lasting several days in some locations, but Collier County managed to maintain a steady fuel supply and essential services like hospitals remained fully operational. Collier County has estimated the total damage at around $280 million.
