It is a perfect central location for someone interested in living their best life.
How did the Park Shore neighborhood become such a vital part of Naples? It all started in 1964 with one enterprising businessman, Raymond L. Lutgert.
Park Shore Neighborhood – Beginning in the 1960s
1964:
The pioneer of Naples neighborhood, Raymond L. Lutgert, foresees the potential of a 760-acre piece of land. With the ground covering a quarter section of the Gulf Beach, the east branch of US Highway 41, and north perpendicular route on the Southwest of Florida, the investor purchases the land.
1964 – 1968:
Raymond then leads a team of expert land artists, architects, and engineers. Together, they drafted what is still renowned as the first unit of development in Naples. It becomes the blueprint for the planned community.
1970 – 1983:
Park Shore real estate development began in earnest six years after the initial purchase. One of the first projects to break ground was Colony Gardens, a 29-unit condominium with beautiful views of Venetian Bay. The following year, Raymond built their present trademark Horizon House. A huge milestone was in 1976 when Raymond completed building Venetian Villas, a Mediterranean designed building on top of the water.
1988:
The Village on Venetian Bay, more than 45 executive and exclusive galleries, restaurants, and shopping outlets opened. The Mediterranean themed village included meandering courtyard, Venetian-style facades and a relaxed environment which featured entertainment for the whole family. The Venetian Village continues to be a desired destination for Southwest Florida residents today.
1990:
A 2nd phase triumphant launch of waterfront restaurants, boutiques, and art galleries is commissioned. Park Shore real estate was enhanced that same year by the launch of Le Parc Vista, a high-end view residential property. It was accompanied by the launch of Enclave in the year 1991 which offered beachfront living with privacy, as there is one condo per floor.
The Mid 90s:
Naples Florida becomes a go-to for lavish lifestyles. Park Shore’s Park Tower opened in 1994, accompanied by Venetian Bay in 1994, spicing up demand for a home for sale in Park Shore. Naples and many of Naples neighborhoods, start attracting people globally for high-end dining and shopping expeditions.
